Second day of the Scottsburg Warrior Invitational. Korey went 5 and 0 again today. He had 4 pins and 1 forfeit. This made him 10 and 0 for the tournament.

At the end of the tournament they award individual weight class champions. This is the first time anyone from Concordia has earned the championship. So the team could get back on the road and head home, Coach Oliver decided to have a little private impromptu award ceremony.

We are in Scottsburg Indiana attending the Warrior classic. Korey has done very well today! He is 5 and 0 for the day. This includes 4 pins in the first period and 1 forfeit.

Korey wrestled again today at the SAC Duals. The team as a whole did not do well but Korey won both of his matches.

Holy Cross sang on the local news today. Brandon is in the top left corner. They also came to the city county building yesterday and they sang for the board of health (my department) and then went and sang for the mayor. I later ran into him in the hallway and he said that they were absolutely wonderful and how impressed he was with them.

Korey wrestled tonight at Bishop Dwenger. What a joy it is to watch him wrestle. 10 and 0 for the season so far! Have I mentioned how much I love wrestling?

Jason Advent Service on Dec 14,2009

Holy Cross had the Advent Service on Dec 14,2009. The 3,4, and 5th graders led the service. Jason was a little nervous about his part as you can see by his face in the picture below he was thinking hard about it!




But as you can see below he did very well!

Korey went 5 and 0 for the day. Very impressive if I do say so myself. Besides his wrestling Korey made me a very proud parent today with his big heart and caring attitude.

On our day of Thanksgiving we were very thankful to spend the day with the Day's. We are very blessed to have such great friends and neighbors. Dave you were missed very much today and we all wanted to send a little hello!

Football Senior Night 10/09/09

This was senior night at Concordia. We tailgated with the teachers from Holy Cross before the game and everyone had a great time. The rain made for a cold night. The only thing that would have made this night better is if Dave was there to walk beside our son with me. We miss you!!!

This is the Operation Purple camp that Brandon went to. He had a terrific time. Every kid at this camp was a dependant of a military member that is or has been deployed in the last 3 years. Brandon has more pictures to come!

Korey 7/10/09

We picked Korey up from Purdue Boiler Elite Camp today. He had a good time and worked on developing his wrestling skills. He says he enjoyed being away but missed my cooking. The camp that Korey attended was competition and take down camp. He seems to have left a pretty good impression on the Purdue coaching staff.

After this win Korey was announced the Heavyweight champion for the Boiler Elite Camp!

The annual hospital picnic. We had a great time and it was a beautiful day.

The newest addition to the family!!!

The Kraft Company Picnic was held on Saturday June 6, 2009. Unfortunately Korey was taking the SAT but Brandon, Jason, and I had a great time.

Holy Cross night with the Tin Caps. Brandon was in the choir that sang the National Anthem. The boys all had a great time but I think they are getting tired of having their pictures taken.

Kirk and Krystal invited us to visit at Jellystone this weekend. Korey had another commitment but Brandon, Jason, and I went and had a blast. It was really great to hang out with them.

Brandon and Jason playing baseball on 5/21/09. Both boys got hit by baseballs that night. I did not know baseball was a contact sport and they say football is vicious.
